The bad weather had long since passed. Unfortunately, not extremely unusual on Progress Energy (and they want rate hikes again- ugh).

But, at least it was a good day for it- as long as we stayed near a window, the breeze kept us comfortable. Gabe and I played with part of his massive collection of Matchbox cars on one side of the room, while Gwen and their dad played on the floor by the sliding glass doors.

It has some really cute projects- I can’t WAIT to do the cute ruffled bloomers on the front!

Gwen has a cute little ball with fabric tags that she likes to chew on, but, she isn’t quite up to holding onto to it for long, so I added a few more as a tail to this toy. It should be a little easier for her to grasp.

I love that my sewing machine has opened up so many fun crafts! Yay!
