Gabe was not the drooliest baby. He really never needed a bib except for mealtime (and seriously, we could still use one some days- applesauce comes out easily, thank goodness). Sweet Gwen, though- she’s got some major drool-age happening. Gabe popped his two bottom teeth around this age, so maybe she’s working on some! Until then, we will keep searching for new and different teething toys for her to soak.

Gabe has the hugest collection of toy balls. He is such a boy, though- I feel like I’m always yelping “Don’t kick/throw/toss/bounce that in the house!!!”, so we try to limit them to one or two in the room at a time. This one HAS to be the weirdest of them all.

Jump Jump Jump- Gwen’s jumperoo arrived today. She can bounce- and we can now eat a meal in peace. Usually.

I had a photo of a tent cobweb weaver spider and her tent to use today, but, I just can’t edit photos of spiders in the dark without completely skeeving myself out. I’m a wimp! So, um. Here’s the third tag toy- this one is for little Andy, the cutest little baby nephew ever. It has crinkly stuff sandwiched in the middle of the flannel sides, like Gwen’s first one does- noisy!!

Oh my. This sure turned out differently than I’d envisioned. It’s the big scary blue monster blanket sister of my daughter’s tiny cute taggie toy from last week. Minky is the fabric of the devil, pure evil to work with, but, oh… sooo…. soft. And blue, in this case. Or BLUE. Hopefully this won’t be the one thing she attaches to and carts around for years.

Markers in a row make a pretty rainbow. My son likes to stack markers end to cap, even more than he likes coloring with them, so the labels on these are worn, but, the tips are like new.

I know how to sew!!
Gwen has been trying to put everything she can grab into her mouth, and this little taggie toys are so great for this age. So, I went and found an easy tutorial, and less than an hour later, here we go! I love my new sewing machine SO much!

My daughter is 3mo now, and in that grab-everything-and-shove-it-in-my-mouth stage. I have that new sewing machine, and just got a great big order of fabric in yesterday. A taggie-esque toy was in order! I found a nice little tutorial that added another dimension to the popular little things- a crinkle layer! Super easy, less than an hour from cutting fabric to cutting the ends of the finishing threads, and barely uses any materials.
These pics are post slobber- please excuse. But, she likes it so far My first complete project on a sewing machine since… middle school home ec?!

Wonder why wonder? Because it was better than downer and vexing, the only other 6 letter words I could come up with before the last little bit of sunlight left for the night. :-p

The A9S has a distinct advantage when it comes to parallel parking in Automoblox land.
