Day 92
The squishy hat- love it! I’m going to add an i-cord flower, and call it done! Just in time for her 6m birthday in 2 days.

Six months old! Only six months to go before our baby isn’t a baby anymore- slooooow down!!!

Yes, she sure is lovable.
Felt flower clippie #1 in action on a soft green cotton hat I knitted a while back.
This little dress has been sitting and sitting and waiting around. I finished the top ages ago, and “finished” the skirt back in November, I think. It was horrible, though- I had no idea what I was doing! I ripped it off, serged off all the clunky seams and hem, and started over. It took all of 30 minutes to do the sewing this time, and that includes gathering and ironing and serging.
I still have to attach buttons for the straps, though! It’s a cool design- meant to fit over the course of two summers, by switching the straps from criss-crossed to straight. I think it will fit in time for spring, though!
It’s a free pattern by Natalie Larson- Two Summer Dress, for Ravelry users. Knitting AND sewing! It’s quick, it’s cute, it’s perfect- I want to make a bunch more!
She’s been sick twice in a month. So has Gabe! I can’t wait for cold/flu season to be over!!! At least I held it off this time around- yay for my shredded immune system!

It’s not going to fit at Easter. Guess I have to make another. ![]()

… way back…

… it’s cute. But, it’s also going to come in handy. Someone should have been named Droolia. ![]()

I’m just going to have to keep working on her.
I remember thinking that the hood seemed awfully big on this sweater as I finished it. Putting Gwen’s big head into it (15 1/2″ at her one month appt- I make bobbleheads!) confirmed it. Hood tooooo big. Too bad- it’s pretty cute! Or maybe that’s just the model. ![]()

Mostly done with a sleeping baby on my lap (on DPNs- eek)! They’re too big on her and the ribbing should have been done on smaller needles, but, baby legwarmers are cute, even if they don’t fit and aren’t perfect.
