Day 74
Lynx barged in on our little portrait session. Gabe is so good with these dogs these days. I’m so thankful that he grew out of that stage where throwing things at the dogs was such a blast!!!
Lynx barged in on our little portrait session. Gabe is so good with these dogs these days. I’m so thankful that he grew out of that stage where throwing things at the dogs was such a blast!!!
We’re at that fun stage where dog ears, hair, tails are awfully enticing to her baby grip (of steel- my scalp is ready to surrender and go bald). Those pups better watch out- she’s going to be mobile soon!
Ice man. No, he’s too neurotic to be cool-cool. He just really likes icecubes. Here, he’s begging for one. Another, actually- he’d just finished one. He doesn’t know when to stop. And the little guy will spend the next 30 minutes shivering, curled up into a little ball, because he’s cold. Our dogs are so weird.
Leo, bouncing across our dry, dry yard. He’s a lovely red dachsie, but, the grass is too ugly for a color photograph right now, so just imagine his coat whatever color you want to.
This is Jake, in some right-before-the-sun-goes-down drama lighting. He’s our oldest boy- and our most neurotic. We do love him so, though. His song goes, “Jake Jake Jake… Jake Jake Jake… Jake your boooootie. Jake your booooooootie!!!” What, your dogs don’t have songs?
My heart is broken. I’ll miss you, big boy- thank you for holding on long enough to come home and say good-bye.
