Woooooosh. There it went! The time between Gwen having enough hair to justify hair accessories (okay, barely)… and between her figuring out how to take them off. Darnit.
On another note, doesn’t she look smashing in her new polka-dotted bow-tie?

Pureed sweet potatoes. They really don’t taste much like anything.
Her responses ranged from this uncertainty- to massive smiles- to big fat tears. I’ll average them all to a “meh”, which is about right. Sweet potatoes are just not that exciting. On to better things next week!

It’s hard to believe that the tiny little newborn we brought home 6 months ago, has grown into such a beautiful big girl! It’s so true what “they” say- time absolutely FLIES when kids enter the picture. And I swear it’s even faster this time around. I can’t believe she’s six months old- really, it was just YESTERDAY that I was feeling her dance around in my belly! :::sign:::

Happy first Easter, Gwen- happy third, Gabe! What a fun morning. Gabe had some window markers in his Easter basket, and Gwen sat on his bed and watched him draw on his window. Is that a look of adoration, or what?! She is just fascinated by him.

“Oooh, smells so pretty, mom!”
Heheh. No it doesn’t- it’s a scentless weed. But, he’s awfully cute.

Gabe was not the drooliest baby. He really never needed a bib except for mealtime (and seriously, we could still use one some days- applesauce comes out easily, thank goodness). Sweet Gwen, though- she’s got some major drool-age happening. Gabe popped his two bottom teeth around this age, so maybe she’s working on some! Until then, we will keep searching for new and different teething toys for her to soak.

Good-bye newborn tub. We’ll never use you again- sob! But, it was fun welcoming the Duck Tub
back into the kids’ bath. Quackquackquackquackquackquack.

Yes, she sure is lovable.
Felt flower clippie #1 in action on a soft green cotton hat I knitted a while back.

This one just made me laugh. Gabe always wants to hold Gwen- ALWAYS. Even if they’re both sitting on the floor right next to each other. Obviously, she doesn’t usually mind the attention. I’m pretty sure he’s her favorite person in the world. I bet “Gabe” will be her first word.
