Oh my. This sure turned out differently than I’d envisioned. It’s the big scary blue monster blanket sister of my daughter’s tiny cute taggie toy from last week. Minky is the fabric of the devil, pure evil to work with, but, oh… sooo…. soft. And blue, in this case. Or BLUE. Hopefully this won’t be the one thing she attaches to and carts around for years. 
Your tag blanket turned out so cute. I love making these for gifts, and the kids love them, too! I agree that the minky fabric is the devil to work with. I found that it helps to sew with the cotton fabric on top because minky stretches too much.
I’ll have to try it that way- I was worried that the feed dogs would eat the minky if I put it down, so I didn’t this time- and it sure was tough! LOL! Thank you!
