My daughter is 3mo now, and in that grab-everything-and-shove-it-in-my-mouth stage. I have that new sewing machine, and just got a great big order of fabric in yesterday. A taggie-esque toy was in order! I found a nice little tutorial that added another dimension to the popular little things- a crinkle layer! Super easy, less than an hour from cutting fabric to cutting the ends of the finishing threads, and barely uses any materials.
These pics are post slobber- please excuse. But, she likes it so far My first complete project on a sewing machine since… middle school home ec?!

this is super cute! i love the fabric…and the picture is lovely too.
Thanks- it was fun to make!
great taggie, and great photo! I am jealous of all the crafty ladies out there. I can’t even sew on a button.
Where did you get that fabric? So cute!
I got it from http://www.fabric.com but, I don’t think they have that color any more. It’s made by Hoffman Fabric, Tweet Tweet Flannel. I’m sure it’s out there somewhere else.
